This happened last week.  I sometimes get a little irritated when I get stuck at the toll, especially when people in front of me take time to get the money out or they cannot get through even after paying.  It is worse when I am in a hurry...  But, the other day, I was ahead of my schedule and I did not get irritated at all when I got stuck at the toll.  It certainly is not good when we are in a hurry all the time.  I hope to be calm and composed as much as I can be.

Something I realized when driving.  The cars get really dirty after the snow.  They all get dirty equally no matter how good, new or old the cars are.  In a same way, human beings are all dirty with sins, no matter how good they are.  How we make ourselves clean from them is an important point to remember.

It's Februrary now and snowing in Chicago.  This winter has been mild, though, compared to other years.  My friends, who are from the northern part of Japan, say it's still not that cold here.  I don't really like the cold weather, so when I heard that it's warm in Japan, I thought it was good.  But then my friends that went back to Japan recently said, "When they say it's warm in Japan, it's just the outside temperature.  It's still cold inside of the houses; they are not like the ones in Chicago... Without central heatings..."  I remember that now...

It's been a while since I last wrote in this journal.  The year 2003 is gone and it's already 2004.  I'm doing fine.  I usually get a cold every winter, but I haven't gotten sick at all this winter season.  Thank God!  I hope I can continue to take care of my health.
